FOR BETTER FUTURE

FOR BETTER FUTURE:

The present trend of arrogance of power, lack of accountability and responsibility in governance is fast changing the democracy to anarchy. Rampant corruption at the top has corrupted the masses. Ministers and MPs think they are the rulers like maharajas of the past and their acts are beyond questioning by the public who elects them. We are the “mango people in banana state” according to Robert Vadra who is shaming the citizens and the nation in the same breath without regret. Is it his humor or lack of understanding the English language or total contempt for the people and the nation out of sheer arrogance of power? This must stop.
Present system of governance needs change. This is possible if a majority of honest people could be elected to the Assemblies and Parliament. Honesty then would flow from the top to bottom as the corruption is flowing now. Would it be impossible to find a few hundred honest ones from a population of 120 million? Time has come to discard the old set of corrupt politicians and give a chance to the new set of would be public leaders in the parties of Kejriwal and Ramdev. They want to form their own political parties; oust the present corrupt government and give honest governance by winning elections within the existing democratic frame work. How many honest one they can get and how long they will remain honest only time will tell? They are honest and we see a better choice in them. They have no grass root political infrastructure and resources to fight elections where money, caste and minorities play crucial role, but have a workable game plan; so let us fight elections with them and cast our vote to their party candidates. The plus point is that they have wide support on their issue or “Mudda” of corruption and a clean image. Nothing will change till their party is in majority in the parliament which may be a distant dream but worth a try being the only hope for corruption free governance. They are honest men with honest intentions to be relied upon compared to most in the present day politics.

Anna Hazare and Civil Society is creating Jan Gagran: They want to support honest political candidates from out side. They are going to ask the public to vote the honest epresentatives whether independent or in any party without themselves entering into actual politics. This is a flawed concept.”Neki kar kuen mei daal”. Because such honest candidates fighting elections are not and will not be in Anna’s control. How he or anybody else can guarantee for their honesty after they are elected. Their loyalty will be either to their party or to themselves. Anna would be irrelevant to them after elections and his efforts to get them elected will go waste. Anna’s movement got big support on corruption eradication platform but lost its sheen later because people have to do their jobs and can not sit on fast for long and go to support someone who is not Anna’s man. I think Anna should openly support Kejriwal and Ramdev’s party candidates because they can not bring dubious characters to contest after speaking so much against corruption and their mudda being the same.

MURKY POLITICS

22.10.12;
(1) A few days back Jairam Ramesh (JR) was equating temples with toilets. That created a lot of stink but no fatwa from any communal or non communal organization. His political shrewdness for not equating other religious symbols saved his life! Being a Hindu he knows how tolerant Hindus are. Now he is urging arrest of those defecating in the open with out realizing their plight and providing viable alternatives. He did not clarify arrest before defecating or after. There is no offence before the act and if done after; then the damage is done. If arrested before then think what can happen after 10, 15 or 30 minutes in the police van. If there are more than half a dozen there will be more stink in and out of the van than what he is creating in his corrupt govt’s lame governance. What the “mango people” can do in a “banana state” but to shit in the open and watch the ways of their dear JR;

Rahiman shitting silently
Watching worldly ways
Betterment will come
May be with delays.

(3). Salman Khurshid(SK) tells that he will sacrifice his life for Sonia Gandhi. Kejriwal questions why not for the nation? Perhaps she is dearer to him for reasons better known to all. SK has no convincing defense against Kejriwal’s revelations of corruption charges against his NGO misappropriating funds meant for differently challenged people and openly threatening Kejriwal to think how he will return from his constituency in Farrukhabad after his agitation and replacing blood with ink in his pen. Our law minister’s not very lawful utterances!

(4). Diggi Raja, Manish Tiwari, Hooda and the whole lot of congress party is busy in protecting Sonia and her son in law Robert Vadera against dubious land deals while those directly affected and involved are keeping quite? It is intriguing; and more intriguing is why a lady from Italy and her family are so important to congress party? Is there no stalwart in the congress party capable of taking over the command? I doubt if there is such a bankruptcy of leadership in congress party! In politics power and money play the game. Perhaps there are too many number two for prime minister ship or the lady has too much of party money under her personal control to control the hawks in the party and play the power game? The credit goes to her?

(5). Arvind Kejriwal, Anna Hazare, Civil Socity, Ex cop Singh and that lady of Anna team from Mumbai, I am forgetting her name, asking Kejriwal to identify himself as a revolutionary, a krantikari or a beggar for votes? Till yesterday they all were crusading under one banner to fight corruption. If corruption is the issue, why are they pointing fingers at Kejriwal now instead of joining hands with him? It is known to all that he is a crusader against corruption and that is his identity. Why to dilute the main issue of fight against corruption? I think opponents money and power is trying to break the great crusade against corruption by creating confusion. This is time to join hands to fight the present corrupt governance and bring a very strong Jan Lokpal to give power to the “mango people” of this great nation to save them from the power mad people who get elected by default in the system.
